Science Exposition: Life Science and Medicine Seminar (14 September 2021)

Life Science and Medicine seminar features local Hong Kong scientists elucidating the science theory behind. Dr Hong-lok LUNG, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Hong Kong Baptist University shared with us "How basic science can be translated to drug discovery?". Dr Carmen WONG, Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, The University of Hong Kong helped us understand "Tumour Microenvironment for Effective Immunotherapies". Prof Tom CHEUNG, Associate Professor, Division of Life Science, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology delivered an overview of "Life of a Stem Cell". Dr Bolton CHAU, Associate Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University brought us to the world of our brain and explored "The brain science of decision making". The seminar concluded after a panel discussion hosted by Prof Edwin CHAN, Professor, School of Life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and they shared their unique and invaluable research experience with the audience.
